Mathador Chrono is the ideal game for all players who enjoy mental math!

Racing against the clock, alone or with others in multiplayer mode, the game involves:

Mathador Chrono is an excellent complement to traditional mental math sessions.

Ideal for students from 3rd grade to 9th grade, the application can be used from 2nd grade by students who already have a mastery of numbers and knowledge of multiplication.

HOW TO ACCESS THE GAME?

1. Teachers and Students Mode: Reserved for teachers or students with a Mathador Classe account, this mode allows unlimited free play and saves your progress. With nearly a hundred items to unlock to enhance your avatar, over twenty trophies and game statistics, plus three difficulty levels corresponding to school grades, players progress at their own pace throughout the year! You can also play in duels or organize tournaments with friends or classmates.
2. Parents of Students and General Public Mode: This mode allows players from the general public or parents of students to purchase up to 4 premium game accounts for unlimited access to the game. It features the same functionalities as the version for students and teachers, allowing duels or tournaments against friends or children.
3. Guest Mode: This free mode provides access to 20 rounds of 3 minutes each. It does not require an account connection but does not save game progress or grant access to unlimited version features.

GAMEPLAY

Each round offers a series of countdown challenges for 3 minutes. The goal is to score the maximum points by solving as many challenges as possible and by complicating answers to score the most points.

For each challenge, there is at least one Mathador move (using all 4 operations and the 5 given numbers). Challenges within each round become increasingly difficult: the target number becomes higher, and there are fewer possible solutions. The trophies encourage players and offer new challenges to overcome.

The "Duel" mode allows players to compete against each other, each answering the same challenges simultaneously. The player with the highest cumulative points wins the game. Players can play asynchronously, taking turns, or almost simultaneously.

The "Tournament" mode enables organizing tournaments among friends or in class with a minimum of 4 players.

ABOUT THE PUBLISHER

The game is published by Réseau Canopé, a public institution under the authority of the Ministry of National Education. It was developed in collaboration with the inventor of the original Mathador game, a mathematics teacher.

The Ministry of National Education has reaffirmed the importance of learning fundamentals including mental math, particularly through game use. Mathador aligns perfectly with this learning dynamic! Games are also recommended in the Villani-Torossian report "21 measures for teaching mathematics."
